Penticton Foundry has an opening for a Technical Sales Representative.
Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:
You will have computer, presentation, and organizational skills as well as the ability to work on your own while remaining part of a successful sales team.
- Prior Sales Experience an asset
- 2 years in a metal-related industry
- Proficient in reading blueprints/drawings
- Competence in Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, etc.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to travel
Assets:
- Diploma/Degree or a background in Metallurgy
- Skilled in Market Plan development and execution.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducts sales calls, schedules promotional work and tracks sales activities on large complex accounts, new territories and on-going customers;
- Quotes prices, prepares proposals and provides information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates;
- Develops new business within assigned region or industry;
- Compiles data on marketing trends, competitive products and pricing and reports to management;
- Coordinates budgets, forecasts and reports on product and pricing trends;
- Provides technical support to customers as required;
- Represent the Company at various trade shows and association meetings to promote company and product.
